This is a photocopy on 6 sheets of foolscap paper dated 26 March 1979.
It describes the sale of 253.38 acres of farmland together with "the dwellinghouse and outbuildings erected thereon known as Rudchester Farm and Rudchester Farm Cottage" from Tom James to John and June Stobo for £145,000. There are various conditions regarding fencing, water, drainage, electricity and mining. There is a memorandum stating that 202.5 acres of land to the North of teh Hexham to Newcastle road were conveyed from John and June Stobo to Ernest Bell on 12 June 1979.
We have 2 maps of Title Number ND60419 which are copies of plan to that conveyance. Both are signed "OMS 20-01-97", although we don't have any other documents from 1997.The map shows the area outlined in red representing the 1905 conveyance land South of the Military Road, without the A69, the road through Rudchester and the residual land owned by Rudchester Manor and Quarry House.
