This is the sale by Arthur Heywood Charlesworth and John Rowland Davies to John Spence of Whitchester Farm Limited for £246,500 (about £900,000 at 2021 values):
172.80 acres of Rudchester farmland, excluding Rudchester Manor, its outbuidings and land; Quarry House and its land; and the fields and outbuildings sold to Northumberland County Council on 11 March 1983.
