1989 Transfer of Whole

This is the transfer of "Such land as remains in the ownership of the Vendor" (Tom James) being land situate and known as Rudchester Manor, Heddon-on-the-Wall, Northumberland" on 13 July 1989, "in consideration of love and affection".

The document certifies "that this instrument falls within Category "L" in the Schedule to the Stamp Duty (Exempt Instruments) Regulations 1987". This states that the transfer is exempt from Stamp Duty as: "L. The conveyance or transfer of property operating as a voluntary disposition inter vivos for no consideration in money or money’s worth nor any consideration referred to in section 57 of the Stamp Act 1891 (conveyance in consideration of a debt etc.)."
