Electricity Hut

In Quarry Wood is a small rendered brick hut which contains the domestic electricity meter for Quarry House. The electricity supply to the hut is underground, but its supply to Quarry House is by over-head cables.

We do not know how long the hut has been there - it may have been built with Quarry House in the 1960s or more likely re-purposed from a role in the working quarry.
